The Smith family needs to divide their parents' estate among three adult children: Sarah (eldest), Michael (middle), and David (youngest). Ms. Rivera is the estate attorney.
Before anyone makes selections, all participants sign a pre-session binding agreement.
What if someone selects everything? They get stuck with it. Claim the Boat and nobody else does — it may be treated as yours under the pre-session agreement, including taxes and storage costs. Overclaiming is self-punishing.
What if someone refuses to participate? The session expires. Selection-submission data is deleted or retained only in non-attributed form under the configured retention policy. No partial results. Attorney proceeds through their standard process.
During the partition-computation phase, other participants do not see individual selections, and the attorney receives only the aggregate partition map until private receipt verification.
